Delete Your Account
How to permanently delete your Selida account and data, whether or not you still have the app installed.
01Delete in the app
If you still have Selida installed, this is the fastest way — it takes effect immediately:
- Open Selida and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab, then Settings.
- Scroll to the Session section and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted right away — you'll be signed out and won't be able to log back in.
02Request deletion without the app
No app install or login needed. Email us from the address on your account and we'll delete it on your behalf:
Please send the request from the email address your Selida account uses, so we can verify it's you. We'll confirm once it's done — normally within a few days.
03What gets deleted
| Data | What happens |

| Account & profile | Your login, email, display name, and preferences are permanently deleted. |
| Reading list & sessions | Every book you saved, its status, and your reading session history are permanently deleted. |
| App activity | Your book views, wishlist actions, and search history are permanently deleted. |
| Usage & diagnostic logs | Crash reports and app-usage events tied to your account are disconnected from it — the account link is removed, so the record can no longer identify you, but the anonymized technical record (e.g. "a crash happened on this app version") is kept to help us fix bugs and isn't deleted outright. |
In short
Everything that identifies you is deleted. A small amount of anonymized diagnostic data may be kept, the same way it would be if it had never been linked to an account.
